I Trade With My Boots On

By now, I think it is safe to say that many of the retail traders who entered the market during the Fed-induced stock market bubble of 2021 have come to learn that being able to make it on their own in this business is going to take time. 

Look, I have been doing this for 20+ years and just because I have expensive scanners and sophisticated algorithms that help point me to high probability trades DOES NOT mean that every trade is going to play out like originally planned.

All of this knowledge and technology is certainly going to help me weed out a lot of bad trade ideas, but even when I find ones that work out I often have to battle my way through.

You MUST be able to make quick decisions and overcome greed.

Take this week’s Bullseye Pick of the Week, for example.

As often happens in trading, your entry points are not always going to be correct. Don’t let ANYONE tell you differently.

That was the case with SNOW this week. 

As you can see from this image of my actual Bullseye Pick alert to my members, my entry was around $7.50 on SNOW the Call options…

But as you can see on this first chart, the options dropped soon after the market opened.

HOWEVER, the stock never fell below the stop that was part of my original trade plan, and conditions never got to the point where my trained eye was concerned about the original trade idea..

so I added to the position.

Then, when the options price eventually spiked up off of support I quickly took a portion off of the table.

Folks, this is REAL, dirty trading.

Unlike MOST of our competitors, I am not just cherry picking the most GLORIOUS trades.

If you don’t know by now, timing is EVERYTHING in this business.
