It looks like Tesla is going to be diversifying their product line even further. After releasing their SUV Model X this year and are slated to produce their entry level Model 3 in the not too distant future, the electric car company is set to reveal something totally new: a big-rig truck.
Business Insider reports that “Tesla’s electric semitrailer will debut in Hawthorne, California, on October 26, CEO Elon Musk announced Wednesday. “Worth seeing this beast in person. It’s unreal,” Musk tweeted.”
This could be a major positive development for Tesla, who have already had massive gains in their stock in the past year. By getting into the world of shipping, Musk may be positioning his company to compete in a whole new market. The diversification could lead to big gains for investors, so keep an eye on TSLA to get on the bandwagon.
