Murphy USA Inc MUSA said its board of directors approved a 3% hike in its quarterly dividend to $0.32 per share from the prior quarter.
The company paid a quarterly cash dividend of $0.31 per share on June 1, 2022.
The dividend amounts to $1.28 per share on an annualized basis.
The dividend is payable on September 8, 2022, to stockholders of record as of August 30, 2022.
Murphy held $240.4 million in cash and equivalents as of June 30, 2022.
Price Action: MUSA shares closed higher by 2.46% at $299.83 on Thursday.
