Jennifer Schecter

Jennifer Schecter, senior director of content impact and corporate outreach at Consumer Reports, has been named acting head of content at the publication.

Lauren Stanich, senior vice president and chief membership officer, in a note to the staff wrote:

I am pleased to share that Jen Shecter will now become Acting Head of Content reporting to me. She has a deep knowledge of CR’s operations after 23 years with the organization. For the last five years Jen has been the Senior Director of Content Impact & Outreach, helping to create pathways to reach new audiences and members by effectively connecting our marketplace change strategies with our content. Over the years she has partnered closely with division leaders across the organization to realize important wins for consumers. Wendy’s current team will report to Jen with the exception of Young Kim, who now also will report directly to me in his role overseeing CR’s design team.

I will be working closely with Jen during this time of transition to ensure continuity of leadership. We look forward to communicating further with the Content Division in coming days.
